My family is from Lubbock TX, we went to Lake Meredith to camp and stopped by Chris's Kitchen for breakfast. The food was amazing, service was friendly and home-like, even the other guests were fun and we had great conversations with them.

Update 20 min total no service. 4 came after got served! 5.21.23 Smoking is allowed in back room but no air machines so whole place will at first smell like cigarettes. Specials every day, great coffee, all food delicious!!! Perfect and family friendly

Family outting for the day. Stopped in for ALL YOU CAN EAT CATFISH 12.95 person. Came with soup beans, coleslaw/salad, hush puppies, & fries/onion rings. It was so much food that we couldn't eat another plate. Building is old, but clean, & smells a bit musty. The staff are very helpful & friendly & the food is amazing!!!!! I recommend you give them a try. Home style food & hometown friendly must stop.

From Miami Florida till I arrived here made the wait worth it. Every small town USA needs this type of restaurant in it. The staff was friendly and the locals seemed to enjoy the banter. The food and coffee was great.
